Terms of service

Effective July 19, 2026

SeeWord is a fun little word game. These terms keep it fun for everyone. By playing SeeWord you agree to them.

Playing SeeWord

SeeWord is yours to play for personal, non-commercial fun on your Apple devices. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the game or its servers.

Your account and username

A player account is created automatically the first time you open the game, with a randomly generated username you can change any time. Usernames appear publicly on leaderboards, so keep them decent: names that are offensive, misleading, or impersonate someone else may be renamed or removed.

Fair play

Leaderboards are competitions, and competitions only work when everyone plays the same game. Cheating of any kind, including automation, tampering with the app or its traffic, or exploiting bugs for score, isn't allowed. Scores that look manipulated may be removed and repeat offenders may have their accounts suspended or closed.

The service

Online features (leaderboards, the Daily Challenge, cross-device sync) depend on SeeWord's servers. They are provided as-is: features may change, boards may reset, and no online feature is guaranteed to be available forever. The offline game always remains playable.

Your data

What SeeWord stores and why is covered by the privacy policy. You can delete your account and everything tied to it any time in Settings > Privacy.

Purchases

SeeWord is currently free with no purchases. If paid features ever arrive, their terms will be added here first.

Liability

SeeWord is provided without warranties of any kind, and to the extent the law allows, its maker isn't liable for damages arising from playing it. It's a word game; the stakes are bragging rights.

Changes

If these terms change, the update will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Playing after a change means you accept it.
